This Postgraduate Year Two (PGY2) program is a 12 month experience based in Miami, Florida. Pharmacists completing this residency program will exhibit a thorough knowledge base and corresponding skills required to function independently in the Ambulatory Care setting. They will be effective, confident and well-informed practitioners who will be capable of providing evidence-based care to Ambulatory patients. The focus of the residency program is direct patient care and clinical practice, involving experiences with an interdisciplinary Ambulatory Care team in Primary Care, Cardiology, Endocrinology and Specialty practice environments.
Strengths of our program include:
Employed physician groups in Primary Care, Endocrinology, Cardiology and Hematology/Oncology practicing cutting-edge, evidence-based patient care in a collaborative environment
Health-system presence across a diverse patient demographic—spanning from The Keys to Palm Beach County
