MUSC Health is the clinical enterprise of the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), the state’s only publicly assisted academic health sciences center. Health-System Pharmacy Administration (PGY1/PGY2, 24 month) This residency is an ASHP-accredited program focused on developing the specialized skills necessary to practice as an integrated member of the health care leadership team. Graduates will be prepared to take a management level position in an academic or private medical center. The resident will participate in a variety of activities, including committee work, the academician preparation program, and teaching for pharmacy students. Required rotations include a full year of clinical rotations and a longitudinal second year of management experiences. Applicants must possess a PharmD degree from an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy and must be eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the state of South Carolina.
