Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center's PGY1 Pharmacy Residency provides post-graduate pharmacists with supportive, one-on-one training to match each resident's personal goals and interests. Residents are integrated into a pharmacy department that is committed to providing safe, effective, evidence-based medicine and learn to work collaboratively to deliver excellent patient care. Residents provide clinical pharmacy services to patients on medical, surgical, telemetry, and obstetric floors as well as patients in the emergency department and multiple intensive care units. Outpatient experience can be gained by electing to train in the cancer center and/or the pharmacist run anticoagulation clinic.
