The JPS PGY1 pharmacy residency is designed to prepare the resident to independently practice in an acute care setting. The resident will be exposed to a diverse patient population in a multidisciplinary teaching environment. Residents will be actively involved in precepting, medication safety, research, and stewardship activities. The graduating resident will be a competitive candidate for PGY2 residency or a hospital clinical pharmacist position.
