Residency Special Features:Residents have a unique opportunity to become certified asthma educators who independently run an ambulatory pulmonary education clinic and participate in population health assessments. Residents will gain vast experience while participating in CDTM/MTM pharmacy clinics and educating patients with asthma, COPD, diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, HIV, and cancer. A unique partnership with Touro College of Pharmacy allows residents to precept PharmD students and gain valuable teaching experience. Residents will also develop strong leadership skills as a weekend pharmacy manager.

Special Requirements for Acceptance:Eligibility for New York licensure, graduate of an accredited PGY-1 residency, college transcript, curriculum vitae, three letters of recommendation, letter of intent, on-site interview. Certification as an asthma educator is recommended prior to the start of the residency year.
