This program offers a well-rounded experience, with strengths in both acute and ambulatory care. Residents work closely with preceptors, with a goal of being able to independently work in various clinical and distributive areas by the end of the residency year. Training experiences include acute care experiences in ED, ICU, transitions of care, and medical units, ambulatory experiences in family medicine, internal medicine, cancer center, and anticoagulation clinic, as well as ID and administration experiences. Additional off site experiences can include  NICU and hospice. We also offer the opportunity to get a teaching certificate, in partnership with local universities.
