PGY2 residencies provide residents with opportunities to function independently as practitioners by conceptualizing and integrating accumulated experience and knowledge and incorporation both into the provision of patient care or other advanced practice

The James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy is one of the oldest Colleges of Pharmacy in the United States. We are located on the University of Cincinnati Academic Health Center Campus with the Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences. We have partnered with our community to offer a unique PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency program with a focus on primary care. The practice located in an underserved area of our community and helps fulfil the mission of our College: To develop progressive pharmacy practitioners and researchers to lead the evolution of healthcare. Residents spend 4.5 days a week at the community partner site and half-day a week at the College
