The Pharmacy Practice Residency at NFRMC is designed to provide the resident with broad experiences in the inpatient and outpatient settings to develop the clinical and interpersonal skills necessary to excel independently in practice. Rotation Experiences include Adult Medicine, Administration, Ambulatory Care, Cardiac Critical Care, Medical Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, Geriatrics, Hospital Practice, Infectious Diseases, Medication Safety, Neonatal Intensive Care, Surgery, Transitions of Care, Teaching and completing a Research Project.

The Department of Pharmacy serves patients of North Florida Regional Medical Center (NFRMC) from the main pharmacy, as well as from pharmacy satellites located throughout the hospital. The integrative practice model of integrative care and decentralized pharmacy practice provides increased opportunity for pharmacist collaboration with physicians, nurses and patients to optimize medication therapy. The department invests in the continuous edification of both its team and student colleagues.
