Essential Functions: JOB PURPOSETo plan, direct, coordinate and support curricular planning and execution of a pharmacy program that ensures quality instructional delivery, active learning, assessment and student academic success. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSManage the development, planning and delivery of programming to assess the teaching skills of students. Facilitate and coordinate teaching skills development. Manage semester planning and material between courses in the didactic curriculum. Manage and support measures to enhance delivery of curriculum and assess instructional quality.Train faculty to support classroom software resources including learning management systems, exam systems, and other curricular support tools. Train on teaching methods, educational delivery, and performance assessment. Oversee quality use electronic examination system. Support semester exam plans and faculty's preparation and exam administration.Identify students who need academic support, maintain records, and support student development.Assist in curricular mapping of learning outcomes in coursework and exam systems . Support program committee work related to curriculum and assessment.Oversee and train volunteer and guest faculty participation in didactic education. Direct the activities of student assistants' participation in preparing course materials, arranging classroom configurations, entering data into electronic applications, and other activities.Organize and set-up evaluations for student and/or faculty completion for courses as assigned.Organize, maintain and adjust staff scheduling for courses as assigned.Assist in organization of data and input into critical systems.Work with program leadership to maintain up-to-date repository of course syllabi, exam systems, assessment data, and files pertaining to program operations. Prepare reports.
Qualifications: EDUCATIONBachelor's in education-related field from an accredited college or university. Master's degree preferred. Teaching certification preferred.EXPERIENCE2-4 year of experience required in education support within a primary, secondary or university educational institution. Working knowledge of detailed curricular information, registration policies and procedures required.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESCOMPUTERConsiderable knowledge and experience with educational technology and web-based applications. Superior computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and internet use. Ability to create and manage databases. COMMUNICATIONStrong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills.ORGANIZATIONALSuperior planning, organizational and customer service skills. ANALYTICALStrong analytical and computational skills.
