Kendall Road Equine Hospital is offering an internship for graduate veterinarians. This is a great opportunity to work in a pleasant learning environment where new graduates can develop their skills and confidence. We are a surgical and medical referral practice with a busy outpatient service. Facilities include surgical suite, 3 exam rooms, digital xray, ultrasound, pharmacy, 23 stall barn, dental equipment and more.
Interns will gain proficiency in exams, taking and reading xrays and ultrasound, joint and nerve block injections, colic work up and management, laceration repair and more. Interns are an integral part of the practice and will participate in all of its aspects. Specific interests of the intern can be focused on during the year. This internship has been successfully running for over 15 years.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until positions are filled.
The intern will assist with daily outpatient work-ups, anesthesia and surgical procedures. They will also manage hospitalized patients, develop treatment plans, after hours treatment of in house patients and admission and work-up of emergencies. Interns will be supervised initially and will become more independant as their skills and confidence develop.
